There are undoubtedly people who, seeing the results of last night’s election are confused. They were convinced the red wave was incoming. After all, this was the moment they’ve been waiting for long for. This was the goal post, that now of course has been moved, that we needed to cross for Jeff Sessions to activate and start arresting people.
Certainly there was no blue wave either and I’m not here to gloat because while I knew this was possible I don’t like it any more than many of you.
I don’t like that when the republicans had a chance to end the democratic party for a generation by exposing their crimes to the public, they did nothing. I don’t like that when the republican party could have ended the democratic party for the rest of your lifetime by simply using the bully pulpit to really wake the public up to the kinds of evil that have been going on in Washington they chose not to.
They chose this election outcome. They wanted it. Never forget that. They had the ability to expose the corruption and to drain the swamp and they chose not to do it.
You want to know why it’s so easy for so many people to dismiss what I’m saying as just being pessimistic, why it’s so easy for them to want to trust that there is some larger plan going on that explains all this? Because they don’t want to feel that sinking feeling in their guts that the rest of you feel when you realize the implications of what I’m saying. It’s the same reason normies and low IQ pundits on the left and the right don’t even knowledge that the crimes even exist in the first place.
Let me break it down for you. Anyone with an IQ above room temperature who pays attention to the world knows for a fact that the democratic party chose a murderer as their candidate for president. They illegally rigged their primary so they could run a murderer for president. Not only that but one of the people who deserves the most credit from stopping this murderer? They murdered him. Shot him dead on a street corner in our nation’s capital.
Almost nobody watching this will deny this. Even those of you on the fence know it’s extremely likely. So while people go on and on about how Trump should have talked about this or that or maybe candidate A was better than candidate B, it’s all meaningless. How the fuck can you say that any of that theater matters at all when one side is letting the other side, the side that knew that the public was becoming aware of how bad things really were in their capital so they campaigned on draining the swamp, the side that had control of the house and the senate and a mandate from the people to end the corruption, the side that knew that if even a tiny percent of these crimes were to come to light, forced out of the shadows using the bully pulpit, they would have ended the democratic party for a generation. This side chose not to act. They chose the results of last night’s election. They wanted it.
Until you can wrap your head around that, none of this other stuff matters because if you understand this then you know that the republicans didn’t lose the house last night, the ruling class just changed the name.
