On the 18th, our first big activist plan. This is going to be a [inaudible] party at Mike Pence’s house. We got a bunch of folks that are organizing that, it’s going to be a lot of fun. It’s going to be his last few days living in Chevy Chase before he moves into the Vice President’s Residence and we’re going to send him off with a bang.
On the 19th is the DeploraBall, which is exactly what is sounds like, the, all the alt-right, neo-nazi, etc etc, this is their party to celebrate Trump. We’re gonna crash it. [inaudible] a portion of the folks with the DC anti-fascist coalition will talk more in detail about that and how you can plug in.
The 20th is the big day. There’s stuff happening all day. There’s stuff we’re organizing that’s happening. ANSWER is doing their thing along the parade route, they’re going to be along the parade route all day. They got a permit and a sound system and a stage. That’s what they’ll be doing. We’ll be doing just about everything else. we are [inaudible] , so from early in the morning i’m just going to go linear because there’s just too much going on that’s confusing any other way.
Early in the morning we’re going to be doing blockades. We’re going to be blockading checkpoints into the security zones. We’re all going to be blockading roads and other modes of transit into the event. We’re going to do everything we can to try and stop people from being able to access the inauguration.
At 9:00 am our space at McPherson square is going to open. We’re going to have a permit for McPherson square and we’re going to have a permit all day outdoor converted space happening there with different kinds of programing going on. We’ll have a big heated tent
so you can get away from the cold for a minute. We’ll have some porta-potties we’ll have some food and some [inaudible] there so that can be sort of your meet up point and fall back point for the day. If you want to get involved figuring out programing and staffing from McPherson square
there will be a breakout before that in this first breakout session.
At 10:00 am there’s an anti-capitalist anti-fascist walk and an unpermitted march that’s leaving from Logan Square. We’ll also be talking about [inaudible] 6 to 8 portion.
12:00 pm is our big permitted action that they’re planning with the [inaudible] resistance march. This is going to be a permitted march that leaves from Columbus circle and ends at McPhearson. This march has definitely turned into a festival we have puppets coming we’re going to have a flatbed truck of dancers from town.
[inaudible] we’re going to have an activist marching band, it is seriously this festival is going to be amazing. If you have any other ideas of amazing things to add to that list or you want to get involved in helping a permitted march in any way you all can have your break out for that. Important update on permitted march. There’s another permitted march planned today organized by occupy inauguration which is a coalition of organizations. We’re going to have the two marches converge. We’re going to join together for one awesome massive march and we’re going to do the closing rally together at McPherson square starting around 2 with a whole bunch of really incredible speakers and musicians there’s going to be a bunch of folks coming in from [inaudible] so that’s going to be really exciting and awesome but we’re not totally sure on what the afternoon schedule’s going to look like after the rally yet
So we figured out there’s a bunch of balls happening. From the official inaugural ball to a bunch of people that are celebrating the fact that that this fascist [inaudible] maniac is in office. So we’re calling this “Operation Ball Crusher”.
And we’re going to be organizing actions to disrupt these balls so if you’re interested in that, again 6-8 come help us figure out “Operation Ball Crusher”.
10pm we have our actual party so we’ve got some folks organizing a party for us [inaudible] will be announced early this week so we will be having our own disrupt [inaudible] inaugural ball location and details TBD.
So that is all the things that we’re doing it is a massive undertaking so we’re really glad to see you all here to help out with all of this.
